From generation to storage: powering Belgium's energy future
Over the past decade, the Belgian solar market has experienced remarkable growth. As the energy transition continues to accelerate and electricity grids are increasingly under stress, energy storage is becoming a key enabler to unlock the full potential of PV – turning abundant production into flexible, on-demand power.
Since 2019, the Belgian Solar Day has established itself as the leading event for the photovoltaic sector in Belgium. Organized by ODE, EDORA and BECQUEREL INSTITUTE, the event brings together key industry players to discuss the latest market and policy developments in the sector.
Starting next year, the event will expand its focus to include energy storage and will be renamed the Belgian Solar & Storage Day (BS²D).
The previous edition welcomed more than 150 industry professionals, including developers, installers, technology providers, policymakers, and energy experts.
